Corporate social responsibility

Innovation and sustainability are the two pillars on which we build our system of value creation and distribution, for all stakeholders, for future generations and for the environment.

Doing business is not only about making a profit. It is also about being able to effectively manage the social and ethical footprint within both the company and the surroundings, and sharing the value generated with stakeholders and the context.

The principles of value creation are anything but a momentary trend to be pursued, but they represent the foundations of future action. This is especially true for those companies, like ours, which operate in strategic sectors where the planet’s sustainability is one of the primary objectives to be achieved.

Since 2009 we have an Environmental Management System, compliant with the UNI-EN-ISO 14001: 2004 standard, updated in 2015 with the UNI-EN-ISO 14001: 2015 standard and certified by a third party organization.

Innovation for sustainability

The adoption of new business strategies oriented towards innovation and sustainability must keep pace with a new way of representing business achievements: direct, transparent and integrated.

For that reason, we have voluntarily adapted to the drafting of Corporate Social Responsibility reports as of 2020. That is true storytelling of the objectives that the company intends to pursue, of the strategic choices made to achieve economic performance and of the positive impact that these have generated on the wellbeing of the community and the territory.

The Sustainability Report is the tool we use to provide a comprehensive view of who we are, how we work and what development we help create.

E.S.G. PILLARS

In TECNO IN we have paid particular attention to the fulfilment of the objectives that revolve around the three E.S.G. pillars of sustainability: Environmental, Social and Governance.
Environmental, social and governance issues are now playing a key role for companies all around the world that intend to use their actions to meet the objectives of sustainable development.

The Global Goals – 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development

For CSR 2020, we at TECNO IN have compared our practices and commitments in the direction of the 17 Goals of the 2030 Global Agenda for Sustainable Development (2030 Agenda SDGs). The UN drew up these goals to encourage all countries to adopt ethically responsible behaviour towards the community and the planet. They must be achieved by the year 2030 by all active parts of society and, among these, by companies which by themselves, can make a fundamental contribution to the global initiative.

AREAS OF REFERENCE

The macro-objectives of sustainable development of the 2030 Agenda and the E.S.G. objectives mentioned above have become part of the cultural transformation that we at TECNO IN have implemented in the direction of value creation. Therefore, we choose the following four Areas of Reference to represent the corporate policies in terms of sustainability in our CSR.
